What made Noida NCRs top office space market




Delhi being the epicenter for most commercial activities in northern reason of India has always seen a huge demand for office spaces & renting but due to space limitation city can’t cater to the need of every individual. For the past decade, this gape is being filled by the Gurugram, which has risen as a commercial hub over time but when the pandemic struck the major shift lead to the upcoming counterpart Noida that is adjutant to Delhi.

Noida has seen massive office observation in office spaces leasing in 2020 according to consultancy firm Knight Frank. Data provided by the firm states that Noida has seen more office absorption than Gurugram that for the longest time has remained the most wanted commercial hub in the reason.

The shift has also been seen in most IT/ITeS companies as they preferred to take leased spaces in Noida over the Gurugram location due to its comparative economical charges when it comes to the per sq ft charges.

Gurugram leasing took a hit during the pandemic as office absorption dip by 63% in 2020 which stands at 2.1 million sq ft, & Noida office leasing only observed a 1% dip as it withstands at 2.2 million sq. ft. Mudassir Zaidi, executive director (north), Knight Frank told that now companies are focusing on cost-efficient real estate which Noida has the best to offer in the region.

Noida has also seen massive growth in demand & withstands at 20-25% of total office takeup in the NCR region. Noida offers a premium infrastructure & so does Gurugram but when it comes to connectivity & convenience the remort area of the Noida region has to offer a lot than that of the counterpart Gurugram. The upcoming international airport at jawer with excellent connectivity being offered by expressway makes it the supreme solution for the commercial requirement.
