Organo might invest 900 crores to develop a township in Hyderabad & Bangaluru .

According to sources, the Echo-habitat developer Organo is looking to invest in Hyderabad & Bengaluru by acquiring 1800 acres of land.

The founder of Organo Nagesh Battuka said, "We are currently looking at projects across product types with an order book of Rs3000 crore and turnover of 900 crores, targeting 3% of the total TAM for alternate real estate in the country."

He stated "In Ruban(mix of rural & urban) communities, there is too little speculation on land price & the majority of the cost goes into constructing building infrastructure and installing technologies for sustaining the community. The land price amount to 11% of the overall cost."

Adding to this he proceeded by saying "With our cities being choked due to high population density, we are consuming polluted water, breathing polluted air & eating polluted food. Counter- urbanization is one possible solution to reduce stress on our cities & improve our well-being"

The companies' ongoing projects in Hyderabad valuing Rs 450 crore on 70-acre land are expected to complete by 2023 whereas, in Bengaluru, the company has 63 acres of land parcels & 50 acres to that north of Bengaluru valuing 372 crores & 270 crores respectively.
