DDA clears housing scheme 2021
On Wednesday's meeting chaired by LG Anil Baijal, it was coated that Delhi Development Authority is all set for launching Housing Scheme in the upcoming year.
According to sources, DDA is offering nearly 1,210 flats at various locations such as Dwarka, Jasola, Vasant Kunj, and Manglapuri. The scheme will be launched by January with an expected draw of lots by March, the scheme includes 215 (HIG) 3BHK flats in Jasola & 15 in Vasant Kunj: 352 middle-income groups (MIG) 2BHK flats in Dwarka Sector 19-B and 348 in Sector 16-B and f our in Vasant Kunj. A DDA official also told that there will be 275 flats in Manglapur in Dwarka for the economically weaker section.
It is assumed that the price of HIG flats would be around Rs 2.2 Cr & MIG is to be priced approximately Rs1.2 Cr. The process for application processing would be online through newly developed AWAAS software.
“The applicant will have to visit DDA only for execution deed. It was also decided not to have preferential location charges for DDA flats, as decided earlier,” the official said.
The DDA has also approved development control norms which are formulated for all unauthorized colonies under NCT Regulation 2019. These norms pave the way for the development of existing colonies, landowners, RWA are allowed to prepare an unauthorized colony regeneration scheme by amalgamation and reconstitution of the plots with access from a minimum 12m right of way. Various parameters have been laid based on the plot sizes with specific norms for parking, setbacks, public green spaces, etc, the publication mentioned.
